Biddy Basketball Program Announcement

On behalf of the Assumption Parish Police Jury, we would like to welcome you as a participant of our youth sports program. Our goals are to offer quality programs at an affordable price while emphasizing individual skills development and team building. Additionally, we envision this platform will ensure participants have enjoyable leisure experiences in the communities of Assumption Parish. As such, we are proud to announce the start of our second biddy basketball season.

Our program is open to kids from ages five (5) to twelve (12). The program registration window is open Monday, August 28th through September 30th. Registration forms will be sent to each school in the parish to ensure every child can participate. Program personnel will be on location at the Assumption Parish Community Center in Napoleonville on Saturday, September 16th and Saturday, September 30th from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm to receive completed registration forms and participant fees.

Our season will began on Saturday, October 28th with our second annual opening jamboree at the Assumption Parish Community Center.

The cost per child is $50 for all ages. This fee will cover insurance and uniform shirts for every child. Fees may be paid by cash or checks payable to Assumption Parish Ward 1 Recreation District upon the submittal of completed registration forms.

Additionally, we will be seeking and accepting applications for volunteer coaches, Clock operators and bookkeepers starting Monday, August 28th.

Assumption Parish Biddy Basketball Program will be under the direction of Wilkadrick “Coach Wil” Carter, serving as the League Coordinator.
